Founded in 2013, the Dasmariñas City Teachers’ Chorale (DCTC) is composed primarily of public elementary and secondary school teachers from Dasmariñas City, Cavite. United by our passion for music, we bring our dedication beyond the classroom through performances that celebrate artistry, community, and public service.
Under the direction of Jun Rodolfo T. Resco, we pursue musical excellence through discipline, teamwork, and a shared love of choral singing. Each performance is an opportunity to inspire audiences, celebrate Filipino musical heritage, and bring pride to the teaching profession.
Throughout our journey, DCTC has earned notable distinctions, including Best Regional Entry at the 2014 Civil Service Choral Competition, Second Runner-Up at the 2018 Civil Service Choral Competition, Champion at the 2018 TEA Governance Choral Competition, and Second Runner-Up and Best Regional Entry for Luzon at the 2019 Civil Service Choral Competition.
A defining milestone came on September 17, 2026, when DCTC was proclaimed Grand Champion of the Civil Service Commission’s Himig Lingkod Bayani: 2026 Government Choral Competition at the Metropolitan Theater, Manila. The chorale also received three special awards: Best Cluster Entry for Luzon, Best Interpretation of the Competition Song, and Best Arrangement of the Competition Song.
With a vision of becoming one of the country’s leading teachers’ chorales, we continue to grow as musicians and educators sharing meaningful music, connecting communities, and carrying the pride of Dasmariñas City wherever we perform.
